BaseCamp Ghana
BaseCamp Ghana, is located in the Ablekuma central district of Accra, near many restaurants and shops. The house is also a five minute walk from the Kaneshie Market, where you can practise your bartering skills on a number of modern and traditional items.
BaseCamp Ghana is a spacious two story center with shared dormitory-style accommodation. Pillows, sheets, blankets and towels are provided. In each of the nine rooms there is a private washroom. Some of the rooms have their own balconies, which are perfect for relaxing in and practising your Twi. There is a large common area on the main floor for guest use, complete with books and games. The rooftop patio is also a guest favourite as a place to take in the view of Accra and spend some downtime.
Wireless internet is available throughout the center, making it easy to connect and stay in touch with friends and family back home. The house is monitored by a security company through a number of close circuit televisions.

BaseCamp Ghana is also the orientation and training center for international volunteers. In addition to accommodation and meals, volunteers receive an orientation to living and working in Ghana. Language training, placement consultation, work plan seminars are also a part of the training and support provided by BaseCamp Ghana.
