BaseCamp Nicaragua is located in the colorful colonial city of Granada, approximately 45 minutes from the capital, Managua. Just four blocks from central park, and close to anything you may need.
Basecamp Nica is a large, beautiful colonial house, with a capacity to host almost thirty guests in both dormitory and private accommodation. Pillows, sheets, blankets and towels are provided. There are large common areas on the main floor, with movies, books and games available to our guests. The house also boasts a large beautiful courtyard garden, providing colour and light to the inside of the house, and creating an ideal setting for some quiet relaxation. Wireless internet access is available throughout the house, making it easy to stay in touch with friends and family back home.
Language training is available and can be arranged with our full time instructor. Whether you are looking for a short survival Spanish course, or interested in more long term Spanish language study, we can ensure you get the most out of your language program.
BaseCamp Nicaragua is also the orientation and training center for international volunteers who are visiting Nicaragua. In addition to meals and accommodation, the volunteers also receive an orientation to Granada and Nicaragua, including language training, placement consultation and work plan seminars.
