A qualified pharmacy volunteer professional who volunteers in this position can expect to deliver prescribed medications to patients, while providing them with directions on how to administer the prescriptions. The responsibilities will be similar to own country. However, some placements will require the pharmacy volunteer to be able to converse well in the host country's language.
It is important for the pharmacy volunteer to be able to answer the patient's questions about the functions and purposes of their medication.
