Rehabilitation Therapy Volunteer
A rehabilitation therapy volunteer would be expected to work with vulnerable populations. A rehabilitation volunteer who has had previous experience working in rehabilitation therapy and understands the special care and patience required in this profession would be greatly beneficial to all concerned. However, with or without experience rehabilitation volunteer help is needed and appreciated by all.
As with many of our health care volunteer opportunities, a rehabilitation volunteer is not required to have special training to work in this field, but those without qualifications can expect to work under a trained professional.
Rehabilitation volunteer positions include working as a physical therapist or assistant, speech therapist, special needs therapist, occupational therapist or students in the varies fields.
