Neighbouring Panama, Nicaragua, the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea, Costa Rica consists of incredible landscapes and over 5% of the world's biodiversity. With white sand beaches, mountains, active volcanoes, and 25% of the land being protected rain forest reserves and national parks, the country has enjoyed booming tourism.
Costa Rica has a population of approximately 4.33 million, whose main languages are Spanish and English, and with a few thousand residents primarily communicating in native languages.
